EVERY HUMAN IS A BANK – Why don’t we just print our own money?

Lecture and conversation with Franz Galler about an alternative way of dealing with money, drawing on the examples of the “Sterntaler” regional currency and the social cooperative “RegioSTAR e.G”, both of which he co-founded.

Franz Galler also deals with money professionally. The qualified banker worked in the banking industry for over 30 years and is now an independent financial advisor. From his office for sustainable regional development, founded in 2010, he runs an additional training course on sustainable economics in rural areas, which he launched in collaboration with the Munich University of Applied Sciences. In his lectures, the sought-after speaker explicates new ways for regions to escape the thought-trap of “money” and offers practical examples of different approaches to deal with it. Galler has demonstrated a pioneering spirit and presents solutions that focus on regionality instead of “globalization”, on cooperation instead of competition and on sustainability instead of growth and environmental destruction. The father of three lives out what he teaches – at home in his region, the beautiful Berchtesgadener Land in southeastern Bavaria.
